Indication
- high yielding cows up to 60 days of lactation
- periparturient cows that are in too good a condition or have lost appetite
- energy deficits in the first phase of lactation are inevitable, and can lead to the occurrence of various forms of ketosis and consequently, fatty liver disease
- one of the first signs of hepatic steatosis is impaired carbohydrate metabolism, reduced fatty acid burning in the liver and accumulation of excess triglycerides in the liver
